Jell-o? More like Jell-WHOA!

I'm a sucker for a good slow-mo shot. There's just something fascinatingly elegant about seeing something that happens in the blink of an eye slowed down to several seconds. We're able to see things we'd never be able to with the naked eye.

The folks at Modernist Cuisine have put together a couple of clips of slow-mo food related items.
The first is a gelatin cube dropped onto a solid surface. Watch as the cube flops around in ways that almost make it look like a liquid:

This one is creamer being poured into coffee:
