Tuesday Tunes!

This has to be one of the coolest music videos i've ever seen. The song is called "Pork and Beans" and it's by Weezer. The video premiered on YouTube, which is appropriate since the whole video features such YouTube stars as: Chris Crocker, Tay Zonday, the Numa Numa guy (Gary Brolsma), the Star Wars kid, the dancing banana, and the infamous diet coke and mentos experiment.
P.S. The song isn't too bad either!

You have to check it out:

Tuesday Tunes!

So it's 11:26 on Tuesday...this post is a little late for Tuesday Tunes...but better late than never. Today...err...tonight's music video is by a band called Cake...yes cake. The song is called The Distance and I remember hearing it from a long time ago...probably the early 90's.
This Tuesday Tunes is dedicated to Paul and Kristin!

mmmm...

I really really love the chocolate milkshakes from Harvey's. It's like pure chocolate ice cream blended into a drinkable concoction and it's so delicious. According to Wikipedia, Harvey's came out with the improved milkshake recipe in late April 2007.

Harvey's milkshake brings me to the yard!

Why did God create idiots?!? (part 2)

Well, yesterday I went down to the office to explain any other details I had. I was then asked to look through the student directory and try to see if I recognized anyone that the main culprit was with. I wasn't able to do this, but the vice-principal asked me to keep my ear to the ground, which I'm still doing. Later during first period I was asked (by another teacher, who pulled me out of class) to take the attendance down to the office and see if I recognized the two gentlemen sitting on the bench. This way I would be able to identify them and not be overly obvious about it. I did this and immediately recognized both of the kids. After I talked to the teacher about the kids I went back to class and carried on with school.
I passed by the office several times during the day and I saw those same kids just sitting in the office ALL DAY...
Maybe they were trying to get them to confess to something, I'm not really sure.

If anything else happens I'll let you know about it...

Why did God create idiots?

I was a witness to some vandalism at school today.
Let me tell the whole story, it's quite interesting...
I was getting my regular 4th period snack when I noticed someone playing with the microwave. I thought that maybe they were just fixing the time or something and I ignored them. As I was walking out of the cafeteria with my chips, I noticed a small group of people standing against a wall looking over in the direction of the microwave. Now I was certainly interested in what was going on. I waited outside the caf. and peered in through a window. I saw the kid getting something from the snack machine and then moving over once again to the microwave. He pressed a couple of buttons and then joined his group of friends. They started to walk away but kept looking over their shoulders at the microwave. After they exited the caf. I went back in to examine the microwave, but before I could get to it I heard a loud bang! I immediately saw smoke coming from the microwave and assumed that they had put a bag of popcorn in for way to long (purposely). Some other kids noticed the smoking machine and one of them opened the door, where even more smoke poured out. Now I was pissed, because I had donated both of the microwaves in the caf. and if they were broken I was certainly going to find out who did it.
It turns out that there was what appeared to be an exploded firework sitting inside the microwave. The bell was about to go and so I had to run to class.
After class I went down to the office and reported the incident. They had already heard about what had happened but were waiting for one of the other witnesses to come forward. I knew what the kid looked like but didn't know his name, so they had me flip through a student directory and identify him, which I did. Now I just have to wait and see what happens.

More on this story as it develops...

P.S. The photo is not from today's incident...

Tuesday Tunes!

So...I forget how I stumbled across this little gem, but it's pretty sweet. The song and music video are just something that this guy made for fun. It's really trippy too...
Here's a note from the author:
"Just a pop tune. Enjoy the seizure!"
The song is called "Brains: Test Them Out"

The song is also available for free on iTunes:

DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE! please

We had a re-enactment of a crash by an impaired driver at our school today. It was pretty cool. The police shut down the road outside the school and they had the ambulance, police, fire, and funeral home services there. They had this old car parked right up close to a tree and then this guy threw a smoke grenade in the car and the area started to fill up with smoke. I think I inhaled a little too much of it however...luckily it's non-toxic (or so I was told). Then the driver of the car got out and ran off while the police chased him. The fire team used the jaws of life to cut off the top part of the car and one person was pronounced dead and taken away in a body bag. It was all pretty exciting.
That's all for now...

Tuesday Tunes!

Dang...it's only Tuesday...I can't wait for the weekend to begin. Hey what a coincidence...that's the chorus in today's Tuesday Tunes music vid.
The song and video are from DJ Michael Gray (he's pretty popular in the dance/house scene).
The song is called "The Weekend" and it features unproductive female strippe...uh...I mean workers.
The song is very catchy and is one of the most popular house songs.

Nothing says "the weekend" like throwing paper around...

Kristin is amazing, so I thought i'd write a reasonably pleasant post about her.
Kristin is:
funny
and different
and a great friend
and I'm glad I know her.
But best of all...she just moved up a couple of spots on my top friends list on Facebook.

Caturday!

Today we have something different: no cat lolcat pictures (unless you count the last one).
