I'm in love with this song right now. It's called Ruby by the Kaiser Chiefs and it's featured as a bonus song in Guitar Hero 3. The music video is pretty sweet too. It features the band playing while a city is built around them. Check it dawg:

I recently saw the movie Drillbit Taylor, and although it received some poor reviews, I thought it was quite good. It definitely had it's moments. I was thrilled when I heard and saw this video being played in the movie. It's called Satisfaction by Benny Benassi. It features scantily clad women using heavy duty machinery. What's not to love? Anyways, they say sex sells, I'm not sure if I entirely agree, but I know one thing is for sure i'm going out to buy some tools right now...where's the nearest Home Depot???

Trip Update 6

Well, I'm back home now and it's cold and snowy...but you don't want to hear me bitch about weather...you want a really sweet music video like this one from India! This just couldn't wait until Tuesday Tunes....

Trip Update 5

More fun was had at Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure today. It rained on and off throughout the day, and luckily I avoided most of it. The exciting part of today though, was the fact that I got stuck on the Revenge of the Mummy roller coaster. We came to a point in the ride where there is a fake unload station but nothing was working in the scene. Usually at this point in the ride the ceiling gets lit on fire and although that effect didn't work it was still pretty warm in there. We waited for at least 15 minutes before finally moving. I've got a couple of pictures.

Trip Update 4

WHEW! What a day I had...first of all yes I did go on the Hulk coaster and i'm sooo glad I did. It was absolutely amazing! I'm so proud of myself for going on it...and I wasn't even nervous like I usually am about new coasters. The launch is breath taking and the immediate zero-G roll is incredible. I immediately went on it again and again...I think my total for today was 7 rides. I can't wait to go back on Saturday and ride it some more!

Trip Update 3

So today I am going to muster up as much courage as I can and try riding the Hulk Coaster at Universal Studios Islands of Adventure. It's different from the average roller coaster because it blasts you out of the tunnel at 40mph in 2 seconds flat. It features 7 inversions and it's won best coaster in Orlando many times. I've seen it before and i've chickened out riding it...but not today! Here are some pics:

AWKWARD!

So...I just had a very uncomfortable hot tub experience. There was me and these two other girls (which sounds like a good start, am I right fellas...?) anyways...
they were talking to each other about boyfriends and such. I was vaguely paying attention, but then they started talking about guys who have fantasies and that it's "only a guy thing." They discussed how guys like the librarian type, or asians... and i'm just sitting there trying to relax and it was just really awkward. I was expecting them to maybe ask me about it (which might have relieved some tension) but they didn't. Then it just got worse as they started talking about how they were sexually active and on the pill and about their periods and about how they didn't want their boyfriends to fantasize and whack off to other girls. I was pretending to ignore them and they probably knew that, and that just made even weirder....anyways I think I'm just rambling now....goodnight.

Trip Update 2

So...a lot has happened since the last update. I'm now in Florida and i've been here for almost 3 days now. The trip got off to a rough start with our flights being delayed, we didn't get in to Orlando until midnight instead of 5:00pm. Then when we went to pick up the rental car there was another hour and a half wait (and we didn't get the right car...) But now that we're here, i'm having a blast and i'm so happy I don't have to shovel snow...or even look at it...*sigh*
I'll try and post some pictures later...

Trip Update 1

So today we're in Buffalo it's -1C here and 7C in Orlando. It's 7:15 but it feels like 6:15 because of the time change. Our flight leaves at noon and i'm really excited!

Florida...home to old people and Disney World... and me for the next week!
