He wears his sunglasses at night! This video just screams 80's and guess what I just found out, Corey Hart is Canadian! This is a pretty catchy song and just about everyone has heard it before, but I like it so I thought i'd include it today.
Most people have probably never head this version though...It's called I Wear My Stunna Glasses at Night. It kinda ruins the original if you ask me...
Well I was was surfing the information highway when I found this commercial/music video? The song is Funkytown by Lipps Inc. (which I also just found out is pronounced like "lip sync" as in Ashlee Simpson...) anyways...this commercial is for Areva Energy and is very similar to another music video that I posted a while ago. (Royksopp-Remind Me) Check it out:
Wow...today we have a real oldie....i'm talking....early 70's maybe...or maybe late 70's i'm not quite sure...either way...this one is great...You just have to watch and see. Also, I think I detect a hint of "Jump On It" by Sir Mix-A-lot.
So yesterday was Tuesday Tunes...and I said about how I thought the Good Life video and D.A.N.C.E. were similar. Well it turns out ,with a little bit of help from wikipedia,...that the two are related.
Music video
The video premiered on September 11, 2007 as MTV Jams' "Jam of the Week". The video features West and T-Pain performing with animated backdrops and often mouthing the words of the song lyrics, which appear in large letters. The video is similar to Justice's "D.A.N.C.E." video. The directors of the video are Jonas & François with animation by So Me, all three directed Justice's "D.A.N.C.E." video. The version of the song used in the video contains an additional 23 second intro that the album version does not have. The video also features video vixen Angel Melaku.
Well....I forgot about Tuesday Tunes so today it's on Wednesday...anyways...I'm not that into rap or hip hop...but this song is really catchy and the video is pretty sweet! It is however strangely familiar...reminds me of the D.A.N.C.E. music video by Justice. Compare the two...
